Lynn College Immersion Day:

Program Overview:

            Lynn High School students, identified by Talent Search, shadow New City Scholars and other Gordon students in a one-day college experience. Students attend classes, visit dorms, eat in the Lane Student Center and play sports at the Bennett Center. Faculty members also participate in panel discussions on how to choose a major.

Areas of college access it addresses:

            College Information Awareness—By coming to Gordon’s campus, Lynn High School students get a chance to immerse themselves in various aspects of college life.

Social Readiness—Following New City Scholars for a day allows Lynn students to hear about the college experience, as well as ask any questions they may have about college preparation or college life.
